- Untrained people on horses to look for terrorists near airports - What genius came up with this one?
No; it's not a joke. The Airport Rangers program is intended to promote both security and community participation, according to the official description. It's a volunteer mounted patrol that rides that horses along the pristine wooded trails that form the perimeter of the 11,000-acre airport.
- Failed terrorism attempt on recent flight? - This one started out as an interesting account of events. But at the end it unleashes its objective fear. It really turned me off as a reader. The author just starts sounding paranoid. Especially after having to point out why she's not the type of person who profiles. UPDATE...
